Terms of service.
1. Scope of Services
Type of Coaching: I offer business mentoring services specifically for small business owners, particularly those with businesses earning under $100,000 annually. My services focus on strategic clarity, marketing planning, brand positioning, pricing guidance, content creation, and business momentum support.
Goal Setting: We’ll collaborate to identify your goals, define clear action steps, and work toward outcomes that matter to you. Progress depends on your active participation and follow-through.
Exclusions: I do not offer therapy, counselling, legal, or financial advice. All services provided are coaching-based and designed to support your business development.
Delivery Method: Sessions are conducted online via video call unless otherwise arranged. Ongoing support (where included) is offered via Voxer or email.
2. Client Responsibilities
Active Participation: You agree to show up prepared, committed, and ready to engage in the process. This includes attending sessions, following through on agreed actions, and being proactive in your communication.
Honest Communication: Coaching works best when you’re honest about what’s working, what’s not, and where you’re feeling stuck. Transparency helps me support you effectively.
3. Payment and Fees
Payment Schedule: Hour of Power sessions must be paid in full before scheduling. All other packages require 50% upfront with the balance due at the midpoint. Payment details will be confirmed upon booking.
Late Fees: Payments not received within 7 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of $25. Continued non-payment may result in service suspension.
Refund Policy: Due to the nature of coaching, refunds are not offered for completed sessions. If you need to cancel a package, a pro-rata refund may be provided for unused sessions with 7 days' notice.
Price Increase: Prices are subject to change at My Take’s discretion. This does not apply to anyone who booked advertised price at time of booking.
4. Confidentiality
Privacy: Any personal or business information shared during our sessions will be treated with strict confidentiality. Your data will not be shared without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
Use of Data: General feedback or testimonials may be used for marketing purposes with your written permission. No identifying details will be disclosed without consent.
5. Termination and Cancellation
Termination by Coach: I reserve the right to end the coaching relationship if a client is consistently non-responsive, disrespectful, or not a good fit. In such cases, unused sessions may be refunded.
Termination by Client: You may terminate coaching at any time with 7 days’ written notice. Any unused, pre-paid sessions will be refunded on a pro-rata basis (unless stated otherwise).
Cancellation Policy: Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Missed sessions without prior notice will not be refunded or rescheduled.
6. Limitation of Liability
Success Disclaimer: While I am committed to helping you move forward in your business, I do not guarantee specific results or income levels.
Disclaimer of Responsibility: You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and results. Coaching is a support tool, not a substitute for business or financial judgment.
7. Intellectual Property
All materials, tools, templates, and resources provided as part of your coaching are the intellectual property of Beverley Johnson. These materials are for your personal use only and may not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without permission.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be handled through mediation in accordance with local regulations.
